One day I was trying to take a nap but suddenly wanted some chocolate cake that's fluffy and somewhat light, covered in savoury-to-sweet chocolate buttercream

Pre-heat oven 170-190C. Have 2 round cake tins ready

Mix all cake ingredients, add a pinch of salt. Beat until smooth

Bake for about 20-30minutes until it is perfectly cooked (skewer comes out clean).

Extra tips: when it cools off, cover it with kitchen wrap or put into a container. You can either freeze it or fridge it. Take it out for cake time, sprinkle some water on it, microwave it for 10-20secs.
