Ingredients

3-4 person
  1. 1 tbspChana daal soaked
  2. 1 tbspTuar daal soaked
  3. 1 tbspBlack urad daal soaked
  4. 1 small bowlOnion paste
  5. 1 tbspGinger garlic green chilli coriander paste
  6. 1 1/2 bowlTomato puree
  7. Ground spices:
  8. 3-4Tezpatta
  9. 2-3Laung
  10. 1Badi elaichi
  11. 2Choti elaichi
  12. 1Dalchini
  13. 5-6Kali mirch
  14. turmeric
  15. coriander powder
  16. chilli powder
  17. garam masala
  18. Powdered spices:
  19. 1 small bowlspinach chopped
  20. cauliflower
  21. pumpkin with skin
  22. potato,peas
  23. 1 tablespoonGround nut
  24. Veggies:-
  25. Green brinjals
  26. 250 gmsSnake beans

Steps

  1. 1

    Firstly boil all daals with salt untill they r soft, in pressure cooker..and keep aside

  2. 2

    In a pan or in a cooker take oil and add ground spices..saute and than add onion..fry till light brown..than add tomato puree.

  3. 3

    Fry till oil leaves the sides of the pan..to it add powdered spices and groundnut..and stirr adding daal and veggies..add water according to consistency..whistle 2 in a pressure cooker or if preparing in a pan cook till veggies r soft.

  4. 4

    Serve with chappati or steam rice.

  5. 5

    This recipe tastes good when it is too spicy.

  6. 6

    Grind the spices in himam dasta before adding to oil..except tezpatta.
