  1. Sauce
  2. 2 tbsphoisin sauce
  3. 1 tbspoyster sauce
  4. 1 tbspmirin (sweet rice wine)
  5. 2 tspbrown sugar
  6. 2 tspsoy sauce
  7. 2 tspcrushed red pepper flakes (or more)
  8. Everything Else
  9. 1 lbboneless skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into 1-inch thick strips or cubes
  10. 2 clovegarlic (3 if small cloves)
  11. 1red bell pepper, sliced
  12. 1yellow onion, sliced
  13. 2green onions, chopped diagonally
  14. 3 tbsppeanut oil (or vegetable or canola oil)
  15. 1/4 cupcornstarch

Cooking Instructions

    Mix together the hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, mirin, brown sugar, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper flakes and set aside.

    Dredge the chicken pieces in cornstarch.

    Heat 2 tbs oil in a wok or pan.

  4. 4

    Cook the chicken over medium high heat until done and then set aside.

    Add 1 tbs oil to pan, then cook the garlic, onion, green onion, and red pepper for a couple of minutes.

    Mix everything together and serve over rice or noodles.
