Ingredients

  • 2 cupFlour
  • 1 tbspGround Ginger
  • 2 tspBaking Soda
  • 1 tspCinnamon
  • 1/2 tspSalt
  • 3/4 cupMargarine
  • 1 cupSugar
  • 1Egg
  • 1/4 cupMolasses

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream margarine, gradually adding sugar, beat until fluffy.

  2. 2

    Beat in egg and molasses.

  3. 3

    Add dry ingredients until well blended.

  4. 4

    Form into small balls and place on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper.

  5. 5

    Flatten dough balls with the bottom of a glass.

  6. 6

    Bake at 350*F for 12 to 15 minutes or until the tops are slightly rounded, crackly and lightly browned.
