Peas Stuffed Sandwich Pakode with a twist

Method for the peas mixture
Heat oil in a cooker add jeera and hing and let it splutter. - 2
Cook for a few seconds and add ginger sauté, Add the peas, red chilli powder, haldi powder, dhaniya powder, salt, sugar and 2 teaspoon of water to it.

Cook for five minutes, slightly covered, to retain the green colour of peas,keep stirring and checking, when done add dry mango powder and garam masala and mix well.

Soak urad dal overnight.
In the morning, strain, grind, with ginger, chilli and salt to a smooth paste. - 5
Add salt red chilli powder and beat thoroughly with your palms to make it fluffy.

Now mash the cooked peas, add boiled and mashed potato and chaat masala and mix well.

Heat oil in a deep pan.

Cut the bread slices into halves.
Take one half of bread and apply the peas mixture and cover with another half. - 9
Dip each stuffed bread in the dal batter and coat evenly from all sides.

Cut again into two parts

Slide each coated peas sandwich pakoda in hot oil and fry until golden in colour from all sides, turning occasionally.

Take out on absorbent paper.
Delicious and crispy snack is ready. - 13
Do the plating and serve hot with green mint coriander chutney.
