Ingredients

30 mins
  • 2 boxMushrooms (at least 2 kinds)
  • 1/3 cupFlour
  • 1/4 cupButter
  • 1 cupWhole milk or cream
  • 1 pinchNutmeg
  • 1 boxTJ's vegetable broth
  • to tasteSalt and pepper
  • 1/4 cupsherry

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Sauté sliced mushrooms in butter

  2. 2

    Add sherry and reduce

  3. 3

    Add seasoning and flour once they start to caramelize

  4. 4

    Cook until golden to remove raw flour flavor

  5. 5

    Slowly stir in vegetable broth

  6. 6

    Process until smooth

  7. 7

    Add milk or cream and serve
