Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1/2 cupGrated bottle gourd / lauki -
  2. 1/4 cupGrated boiled potato -
  3. 2 tbspGrated paneer / cottage cheese -
  4. 4 tbspBread crumbs -
  5. 1/2 tspGinger paste -
  6. 1/4 tspCoarsely grind black pepper -
  7. 1/4 tspChat masala -
  8. 1/4 tspGaram masala -
  9. 1/4 tspRed chilli powder -
  10. 1/4 tspKasuri methi -
  11. to tasteSalt -
  12. 2 tbspOil -
  13. 1 tbspFinely chopped onion -

Steps

  1. 1

    Blanch the grated bottle gourd / lauki.

    In a mixing bowl combine all the ingredients except oil.

    Divide the dough into equal parts.

  4. 4

    Shape each balls to flat patties of medium thickness.

  5. 5

    Heat oil in a non stick pan and shallow fry in hot oil until golden in colour.

  6. 6

    Flipping once in between,

  7. 7

    Always cook in medium flame

  8. 8

    Drain extra oil in paper napkin.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with tea.
