Add all the ingredients given for boiling in the pressure cooker. Boil it for 1 whistle on high. Then slow the gas and keep cooking for 40 mins.
Heat oil in kadai. Add jeera, dry red chilli. Add ginger garlic paste. Cook for sometime. - 2
Add onion cook till brown. Add tomato and cook till soft. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, kasuri methi and garam masala. Mix well.
Add cooked daal. Mix well. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
Add lemon juice before serving. - 3
Serve hot.
