Ingredients

30 minutes
Serves 2 servings
  1. 1 canorganic chickpeas (about 15 oz/425 g)
  2. 2hard-boiled eggs, 2 bay leaves
  3. 1onion, 2 garlic cloves, parsley, 1 slice fried bread
  4. 1 cupchicken broth (about 240 ml)
  5. 1 1/4 cupstomato sauce (about 300 grams)
  6. Sweet paprika, pinch of salt
  7. 1 pinchturmeric

  1. 1

    In a pot, fry the slice of bread and set aside. Sauté the onion and garlic.

  2. 2

    Chop the fried bread and parsley, then add them to the pot along with a bit of tomato sauce.

  3. 3

    Add the chickpeas and chicken broth. Mix everything together and season with salt. Add 1 cup of water, the bay leaves, and sweet paprika to taste.

  4. 4

    Simmer over low heat for about 25 minutes. Grate 1 hard-boiled egg into the stew.

  5. 5

    When serving, garnish the chickpeas with the other hard-boiled egg, as shown in the photo.
