Ingredients

  1. crust
  2. 3quarters cup plus two tablespoon Crisco
  3. 1/4 cupboiling water
  4. 1/2 tspsalt
  5. 2 tbspmilk
  6. 1/4 cupsugar
  7. 2and a quarter cup flour
  8. 2sheets wax paper
  9. filling
  10. 8or 9 apples (northern spies, Cortland, or granny smith)
  11. 1 tbsplemon juice
  12. 1and a quarter to 1 and a half cup sugar
  13. 1/4 cupflour
  14. 1one and a half teaspoon cinnamon

Steps

  1. 1

    preheat to 425

  2. 2

    fork Crisco in bowl

  3. 3

    sprinkle salt

  4. 4

    pour in water and whip until creamed

  5. 5

    add milk and whip

  6. 6

    add sugar

  7. 7

    add flour until not sticky

  8. 8

    layer crusts and wax paper and roll

  9. 9

    crust is ready, now peel and slice apples about half inch thick

  10. 10

    add lemon juice, sugar, flour, and cinnamon

  11. 11

    bake on bottom most rack for 40 to 50 minutes

  12. 12

    at about twenty minutes cover, judge by look

  13. 13

    serve your nice and warm apple pie, after a little time to cool off, of course
