Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 cupschopped spinach (palak)
  2. 1/2 tsplemon juice
  3. 3/4 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
  4. 1 tspgreen chilli paste
  5. 1 tbspghee
  6. 3/4 cupplain flour (maida)
  7. to tastesalt
  8. 1 cupwhole wheat flour (gehun ka atta) for 
  9. as neededghee for cooking
  10. as neededFor Serving fresh curd

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine the spinach, lemon juice and 2 tbsp of water in a mixer and blend to a smooth purée.

  2. 2

    Combine all the remaining ingredients including the spinach purée and knead to a semi-soft dough using enough water.

  3. 3

    Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll out each portion into diameter circle, using a little whole wheat flour for rolling.

  4. 4

    Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each paratha on both sides, using a little ghee, till brown spots appear on both the sides.

  5. 5

    Serve hot with fresh curds.
