Boil 2 cups water, add 1 cup rice, lower temp. to level 1, put on lid, and cook for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350.

Chop up ½ white onion and drain ⅛-¼ cup of jalapeno slices.

Spray pan very lightly with oil. Heat sauce pan at level 4-5. Saute onion for 3 minutes.Break up ½ lb of ground beef into pan. Add 2 teaspoons cumin, 2 teaspoons paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic salt, and 2 teaspoons chili powder. Stir until browned.

Add jalapeno slices and stir, 2 minutes.

Spray small square pan with oil. Pour in rice and beef, combine.

Top casserole with shredded cheddar or mexican blend, or with 4 slices of cheddar (whatever you have).

Put in oven for about 10 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
