I have to cook for a client that cannot have dairy products but love certain foods like lasagna. I was actually only try to make almond milk when I realized what I could do with what's left of the almonds so I experimented and she loved it.

I have to cook for a client that cannot have dairy products but love certain foods like lasagna. I was actually only try to make almond milk when I realized what I could do with what's left of the almonds so I experimented and she loved it.
Steps

Add almonds and add enough water to cover them in a container.

Let them soak about 3 hours or until shells are easy to peal off.

Remove shells from all the almonds

Boil about 3 cups of water

Pour almonds in hot water
- 6
Stir for about 5 minutes.

Drain almonds.

In a blender add about 2 cups of water to 1 cup of water. And a pinch of salt.

Blend until almonds are as smooth as possible.

Strain though a strainer into a container.

Separate milk from almond custard.

Repeat until all the almonds are blended.

The add all the almond custard back into blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
