Got a bag of jalapeño chips that I didn't want, but no one else would take them! I figured I'll use them for the chicken I planned on making, I don't regret that change in plans at all!

Got a bag of jalapeño chips that I didn't want, but no one else would take them! I figured I'll use them for the chicken I planned on making, I don't regret that change in plans at all!

start with soaking the chicken in buttermilk, in a plastic container and refrigerate for about 2 hours

before removing chicken from marinade, combine together the flour, salt/pepper and paprika
- 3
remove chicken from marinade and dredge in flour mix to dry
- 4
shake off the excess flour, then dip fully into egg wash
- 5
now place into crushed chips and cover completely

prep a sheet pan with vegetable oil brushed on and preheat the oven to 400

cook chicken at 400 for no more than 15 minutes

after 15 minutes, turn heat down to 350

continue baking at 350 for 25-30 minutes or until coating is golden brown and chicken juices run clear

rest for 10 minutes and plate!
