400 gramsTinned Plum Tomatoes (make sure you use plum tomatoes)
1Onion (Diced)
1 cloveGarlic
1Pancetta (optional)
bunchBasil
1Olive Oil
1salt and pepper

Dice onion and garlic

Heat Olive Oil in frying pan, add onion and garlic, cook until soft, and pancetta if usimg

Add chopper tomatoes and season well with salt and pepper.

Add basil, bring to the boil and simmer for ten minutes .

Taste and season again if needed
