Steps

Heat 1 tspn.oil in the pan add whole red chilli and lentils saute them and crackle for a seconds.

Add poppy seeds and saute now remove them and keep aside and cool.

Then grind it and make fine paste. Keep them aside.

Now heat the oil and ghee in the same pan. Add whole five spices.

Keep the flame low and saute them and crackle for a seconds.

Add whole chillies, Cinnamon, cashew nuts and onion saute altogether.

Add ginger, garlic. Add 🍅 tomato stir well and till the tomato tender.

Close the lid for a minutes

Now open the lid and add ground spices stir and saute till comes out nice aroma and oil realsing side the pan.

Now add cooked rice in it.and stir with the tomotao mixture very well.

Add salt,sprinkle some water and cover with lid.keep the flame very low.

And cooked about 2-3 minutes more. Serve tomotao rice with potato wages and onion Raita.
