Steps
- 1
Clean coriander bunch and roughly chop it.
- 2
Take chopped coriander in mixing bowl. add cumin seeds, caraway seeds, Sesame seeds, Ciba Red Chilli Powder, hing, turmeric, Biryani Masala/Garam Masala, salt and 1 tbsp of oil in it. And mix it with your clean hands.
- 3
Once mixed well, add Rice Flour, Bajra Flour and slowly start adding Besan I.e. Gram Flour and keep mixing. Mix it until it starts holding shape. Make sure we do not want the dough. It should only able to hold it's shape. And your Vadi mixture is ready.
- 4
Now make cylindrical shape of mixture or directly spread it on flat plate greased with oil and put it in steamer for 10 mins.
- 5
After 10 mins, give a clean fork taste. If fork comes clean, your Vadi is cooked. You can eat it as it is or fry it.
- 6
Once it is done, cut into bite-size pieces. Then either shallow fry or deep fry it. And serve it with Chutney or Maharashtrian style Kadhi.
