  • 4pears
  • 1 tbspsugar
  • lemon zest
  • 1/2 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel, core and slice pears

  2. 2

    Place pears in a large skillet with sugar, lemon zest, and 1/2 cup water.

  3. 3

    Bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes stirring once or twice.
