Homemade Meat Sauce

Cut up bacon and the into sausage links. Then it cut up the remaining sausage links into chunks.

Place sausage and bacon into a medium pan and brown.

Once the meat is browned, drain excess grease and place meet aside inseparable.

Cut up onion, garlic and tomatoes.

Drizzle olive oil in a pan on low to medium heat.

Place onion and garlic in pan and saut? until tender.

Add cut up tomatoes to the onion, garlic mixture. saut? tomatoes until they are tender juicy and start to peel away from the skin.

Add spices and let tomatoes come to a simmer.

Once tomatoes are nice and juicy added tomato mixture to the blender and pur?e until smooth.

Once the mixture is smooth add it back into the pan and the meat to the sauce.

Simmer on low for 20 minutes. Then set aside until you're ready-to-eat.

Pour over your favorite pasta.

Depending on your taste you may desire more salt or more spices. Just keep in mind if you add too much salt you can always add a little bit of sugar to balance the sauce back out again.
