Ingredients

  1. 750 gramsminced pork/veal
  2. 5 smallmushrooms sliced
  3. 1 mediumonion chopped
  4. 2 clovegarlic crushed
  5. 1 largecarrot chopped
  6. 1 cantomatoes
  7. 1 tbspmiso paste
  8. 2 tbspWorcester sauce
  9. 2 tbsptomato sauce
  10. 1 bunchbasil, chopped
  11. 1 bunchflat leaf parsley, chopped
  12. 300 gramskumara/sweet potato

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Saute onion and garlic in oil for 3-4 mins. Add chopped carrot and mushrooms, saute for 3-4 mins. Add miso paste, Worcester sauce, tin tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer and then add pork and veal mince. Simmer for 15 mins - add chopped basil and parsley.

    Preheat oven to 180C

    Peel and chop kumara, boil in salted water until done - mash put on top of meat mixture and put into oven for 15 mins to brown
