Ingredients

8 Rotis
  1. 3 cupsRice Flour
  2. 1.5 cupDill Leaves/Sabbasige Soppu/Shepu
  3. 3/4 cupGrated Coconut
  4. 2 tspGrated Ginger
  5. 4Green Chilli (Finely chopped)
  6. 2 tspCrushed Cumin Seeds
  7. 1/4 tspAsafoetida/Hing Powder
  8. 2 tspSalt
  9. 1.75-2 cupsHot Water
  10. Oil as required

Steps

    Mix rice flour, grated ginger, finely chopped green chilli, crushed cumin seeds, asafoetida powder, salt and 2 tbsp oil in a bowl.

    Add hot water and mix well with a wooden spatula to form a soft dough.

    Now add the dill leaves and grated coconut.

    Mix well and divide the dough into 8 equal sized balls.

    Grease a griddle. Place a ball of dough on the griddle

    Pat with wet hands and spread into a thin roti.

    Drizzle oil.

    Cover and cook for 2 to 3 mins.

    Open, flip the roti and cook for a few seconds.
