
Easy Tomato Sauce

Realized I didn't have any cans of tomato sauce in the middle of making a pizza. Not wanting to have to run to the store, I took what I had available, and made my own.

Put all ingredients into a small pot, and mix thoroughly.

Heat to boiling and then reduce heat to low. Let simmer partially covered for 30 minutes, or until slightly thickened.

Remove from heat, and let cool for 15 minutes.

Put mixture into blender/food processor on a "puree" setting for 3-4 minutes.

Use immediately, or freeze for future use.
