1 sticksoft butter or margarine
12 ozPeanut butter- creamy
1 tbspvanilla
1 lbconfectioners sugar
Coating
1 packageschocolate chips- large bag
2 tbspCrisco or vegetable shortening

Cover one or more cookie sheets with wax paper or Paraffin paper

Buckeyes: Mix ingredients together. Form into balls, about the size of nickels. Place on cookie sheet and chill or freeze while you melt the chocolate

Coating: Melt chocolate chips and vegetable shortening together.

Using a toothpick, dip the balls into the chocolate mixture.

Return to cookie sheet to cool.
