I am from mbano in imo state, we call our cassava flakes akpu mmiri, it is quite wider than this but had to make do with what i could get my hands on. Try to make it and Enjoy it, you wont regret it.

I am from mbano in imo state, we call our cassava flakes akpu mmiri, it is quite wider than this but had to make do with what i could get my hands on. Try to make it and Enjoy it, you wont regret it.

Put the abacha in a bowl and pour in boiling water to make it soft. This has to soak for a while.

Put your ash in a small plate and pour in half a cup of water, allow to sit for awhile then sieve it into the bowl you will use for the abacha.(make sure you use the tiny sieve)

In the bowl put your red oil, mix till you get this thick consistency, then pour in your crayfish, pepper, knorr and utashi leaf.

Mix very well then add the abacha ie after straining out its water. Mix very well then add oniobs and salt to taste.

Mix till everything has tge same yellowish colour. If too thick you can add a little water and mix.

Serve with the fish, or any garbish of choice.
