Combine1/2 cup melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper in a 3 quart baking dish. (spray with Pam first)

For the topping: sautee cornflakes in butter and sprinkle on top of hash browns. Cover and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
