Preheat oven to 425°F.

Chop up apple pie filling as best as you can. Optional- a food processor.

Spread filling onto one of the pie crusts- leave an 1/8 border on its edge.

Lightly put the other pie crust on top to secure it.

In a separate bowl, mix egg and a splash of water.

Brush egg mixture on top of pie crust, then sprinkle with sugar.

Cut into 'fries': about 1/2 an inch thick.

Place fries onto a baking sheet and bake at 425°F for approximately 12 minutes.
