Ingredients

  • 1non stick cooking spray.
  • 1 packageswhole wheat penne pasta
  • 2 tbspbutter
  • 1/4 cupflour
  • 3 cupmilk
  • 1 cupchicken broth
  • 1/2 tsppepper
  • 2 cupsliced white button mushrooms
  • 1/3grated parmesan chesse
  • 2 cupdiced cooked turkey breast
  • 1 cupfrozen peas
  • 1cup. cheddar cheese, shredded

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Spray a shallow two to three-quart baking dish with cooking spray; set aside

  3. 3

    Cook pasta according to package direction.

  4. 4

    In large saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and stir flour.Stirring constantly, cook about 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Whisk in milk,ckeckin broth and pepper; bring mixture to a boil.

  6. 6

    Stir in mushrooms,reduce heat and cook about 10minutes, stirring frequently or until mixture thickens and mushrooms are soften.

  7. 7

    Stir parmesan cheese, pasta,turkey, and peas into milk mixture; spoon into prepared baking dish.Top with cheddar cheese and cover loosely with foil.

  8. 8

    Bake about 45 minutes or until bubbling at edges and heated through.
