Ingredients

72 servings
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 3/4 cupsoftened butter
  • 1/2 tspvanilla
  • 1/2 tsporange extract
  • 1egg
  • 2 cupflour
  • 1 tspbaking powder
  • 3/4 tspsalt
  • 2 tbspgrated orange peel

Steps

  1. 1

    combine ingredients and form into 1 inch balls.

  2. 2

    place on ungreased cookie sheet

  3. 3

    ..,,..flatten with bottom of glass dipped into sugar

  4. 4

    GLAZE 1 cup.....or 6 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips, one fourth cup Crisco, 3 tablespoon light corn syrup

  5. 5

    dip cooled cookies half way into chocolate mixture just to coat

  6. 6

    place cookies on waxed paper.
