Gandhoraj chicken

This is an out-of-the-box kind of preparation of chicken where the smell of gandhoraj lemon dominates the entire dish along with a strong flavour of black pepper.

This is an out-of-the-box kind of preparation of chicken where the smell of gandhoraj lemon dominates the entire dish along with a strong flavour of black pepper.
Steps

Marinate the chicken with the lemon juice, salt and 1tsp of black pepper at least for 1hr.

Heat some oil in a wok. Fry the marinated chicken on a high flame.

Remove it from the flame.

In the same wok, again heat some oil if required and add the cardamom and red chillies.

Wait till the aroma comes out.

Add the onion paste. saute it very well.

Then add the garlic paste. Fry them for a minute.

Add the ginger paste, green chillies paste, and again fry the masala till the oil comes out of it.

Add the chicken and the capsicum. Saute them very well and then add salt and sugar.

Cover the wok with a lid.

Uncover the wok after 5min and add the gandhoraj lemon juice, gandhoraj lemon zest and the leaves.

Add half cup of lukewarm water if required.

Mix them very well and cover the wok with the lid.

Add 1tsp of black pepper. Mix them very well. Check whether the capsicum has been cooked along with the chicken.

Remove it from the flame. Serve hot
