Cream thoroughly the butter and shorteningthen add sugar.

Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.

Blend dry ingredients about1/2 cup at a time.

Let refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinammon.

Shape dough into small balls.

Roll dough in cinammon/sugar mixture.

Bake 8-10 minutes.
