Ingredients

2 cupChopped onion
3 cloveGarlic, minced
1 canLarge crushed tomatoes
2 canSmall tomato paste
1 1/2 cupWater (depends on how thick you want it)
1Bay leaf
1/2 tspSalt
1/4 tspPepper
1 tbsp(Heaping) oregano
2 tbsp(Heaping) basil
1 tspSugar

Steps

sauté the onion and garlic in olive oil until softened, stirring often.

Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, sugar, and remaining herbs
3

Add water, until desired thickness
4

Simmer for 30 minutes to an hour, stirring often. Keep covered/uncovered.
