Sandwich Dhokla

Sauté all vegetables on low flame with salt and pepper in a pan till they are mushy. It will take 7 to 10 mins.

Pre heat steamer for 5 to 7 mins. Then take a plate and grease it with oil. Spread the batter and steam for 5 mins.

Then spread green Chutney over it evenly and pour thin layer of batter and steam again for 5 mins

Now spread tomato chutney over it and spread a layer of the sautéed vegetables

Cover it with batter for the last time and steam it for 5 to 7 mins

Now heat 1 tsp oil and add curry leaves and mustard seeds to season the Dhoklas. Cut square shapes and serve hot!

A perfect spongy nutritious treat is ready !! Serve with green Chutney Or ketch up, masala tea and lots of love !

Tips: always use freshly made batter for spongy Dhokla. Let it ferment naturally and avoid baking soda.
