Wash the rice and dal and soak it in clean water separately for minimum 5/6 hours..

Next day wash the dal and rice..Now grind the dal first finely Remove it in a vessel..Now coarsely grind the rice and mix it with the dal and stir it well in one direction.Add salt

Batter is ready for Idlis..Pour the required mixture in idli mould and steam it..Cool it and take out the idlis.serve hot with coconut chutney

Coconut chicken..Grind grated coconut with 2 green chilles,a piece of ginger,dalia,cumin seeds,little corinder leaves and salt to taste...Now Gve tadka wit mustard seeds,asafoetida or hing powder and curry leaves.Your green chutney ready to go with your idlis 😊
