Well were eat ribs a lot here in Florida. We usually have them on special occasion. Today it's pouring rain outside or they would be on the grill. Lots of lightning, over fifteen hundred strikes per minute in the area.

4-6 servings
  1. 8 ouncesbutter/margarine soften
  2. 1 teaspoonmustard powder
  3. 1 tablespoonprepared Horseradish sauce
  4. 1 teaspoonsalt
  5. 1/2 teaspoonground white pepper powder
  6. 8 poundspork St. Louis style spare ribs
  7. As neededsalt just enough to cover lightly one side

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Heat the oven 350 degrees Fahrenheit as you put the ribs in.

  2. 2

Remove the silver skin membrane from the ribs. The best way is start at the corner on the end. Lift up a little of the membrane and use a paper towel to grab it and simply pull it. if it breaks off start where it tore and pull it on off.

  3. 3

With the silver membrane gone rinse and pat dry the ribs

  4. 4

Mix the butter, mustard, Horseradish sauce, salt, and white pepper powder.

  5. 5

It's ready to put on the ribs.

  6. 6

Do the side that's boney and had the silver skin membrane on it that you removed.

  7. 7

Salt the meaty side before you coat it

  8. 8

Rub it all over the other side of the ribs.

  9. 9

Put into the oven and slow cook for 2-1/2 hours.

  10. 10

Let rest for 10 minutes. Now to slice.

  11. 11

Slice and serve I hope you enjoy!!! I served with my batch 89 Peppered barbecue sauce see my recipe.
