Place the butter and sugar in the same bowl,mix together till fluffy

Add the eggs,one by one to prevent cuddling.

Then add the vanilla essence,

Then add the food colour (I use maimun for my colour)

For the dry ingredients sieve the flour mixed together with the baking powder,(I sieve 2 times to facilitate aeration.

Then add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients prepared earlier on.

For the butter milk add 2 tsp of vinegar to the milk and let it rest for ten minutes

Then add to the dough if its still dry,

Preaheat the oven @180°.

Preaparr your baking tin by applying butter on the inside of the tin,then dust with some flour,pour out the excess flour.

Pour the dough in the baking tin and place it in your oven and bake for 45 min- 1 hour.

For the frosting I used butter cream.

Place 500 g and the icing sugar in your mixing bowl and mix till fluffy and frost your desired design.
