Potato wedges served with minced meat, fried French beans and kachumbari

Peel the potatoes and wash and then slice them into wedges. Put the potatoes in a sufuria,add water and let them simmer for ten minutes and then remove them from the hot water and run over cold water. In a clean dish marinate the potatoes by adding mixed herbs, black pepper, olive oil and adding a pinch of salt. Put the potatoes in a baking tin and place in the oven for 30 minutes in 200degrees

Place a sufuria in the heat and add the diced onions and cook until brown. Add the minced meat and let them cook over low heat while constantly checking. Add few pinches of salt and a pinch of black pepper and let the meat cook for 20 minutes.

Heat a sufuria and add some oil and then add the French beans and cook for 5 minutes

Dice tomatoes, onions and grate carrots and add all three together and mix well and add a pinch of salt and mix well
