Vanilla Chocolate Cake

Preheat the oven at 180° or medium heat.

Measure all ingredients;flour,baking powder,margarine and set them aside.

Mix the sugar and margarine in a separate bowl.

Use a mixer or a whisker to cream the two for 3-5min until pale. Beat 2 eggs in a small bowl and add to the cream mixture.

Cream for a minute then beat the two remaining eggs in a bowl and add to the creamed mixture. Add vanilla essence as you continue creaming for another min. Set your mixture aside.

Fold in your flour alternating with milk,first put in half the flour,fold in then add some milk and fold in,then the rest of the flour and continue folding until mixed.

Dust the cooking tin then pour the butter into the cake pan and place in thek oven's middle rack to bake.

Bake for 40-50mins or until a knife inserted comes out clean. Cool the cake for about 5min then remove the cake from the pan and set on a cooling rack. Ensure your cake cools completely before frosting or icing.
