Ingredients

10-15minutes
makes 12-15 cup
  • 1 1/4 cupflour
  • 1/2 teaspoonbaking soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoonbaking powder (use self raing if no)
  • 1/2 teaspoonsalt
  • 2eggs
  • 1/2 cupvegetable oil
  • 1/2 cupbutter milk
  • 1 teaspoonclovers vanilla essence
  • To make buttermilk use 1/2 teaspoon of lemon for 1/2 cup of milk
  • I added some chocolate chips bout a handfull into the flour

Steps

10-15minutes
  1. 1

    Ensure all ingredients are in room temperature for the best results

  2. 2

    Mix all dry ingredients, flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt together in a bowl

  3. 3

    Whisk eggs,sugar and vanilla extract together with high speed until it begins to form soft peaks.

  4. 4

    Gently mix the dry ingredients into the egg mixture with a rubber spatula

  5. 5

    Pour or scoop out the batter and fill in the cupcake pan 1/2 full.

  6. 6

    To check for readiness, insert toothpick and if it comes out clean your cake is ready

  7. 7

    In your preparation line the cupcake pan with cupcakes papers
