Plantain Puffs

Plantain week challenge continues and since I had very ripe plantains at home, I just thought of making plantain puffs for a quick breakfast before hitting the road for a weekend event.
Plantain puffs are a common street food here in Lagos Nigeria but home made ones are always more yum!! :)

Plantain week challenge continues and since I had very ripe plantains at home, I just thought of making plantain puffs for a quick breakfast before hitting the road for a weekend event.

Steps

In a mixing bowl.
sieve in the flour
Add.Salt, Yeast, Cinnamon, Nut meg, Sugar
All the dry ingredient.
and turn it round. - 2
Pour in the Warm Milk and mix into a smooth batter.
mine wasn't water but slightly thick. - 3
Cover the bowl and allow to rise for about 30mins

After.30mins,
open up and turn the batter...
then.pour in the blended plantain and mix it all... - 5
Pour enough oil into a deep frying pan...
Allow the oil to get hot...
Use your hand and scoop the batter into the oil...
fry till golden brown - 6
Once its done, remove from oil and set on paper towel to drain excess oil...
And Serve and Enjoy...
