Ingredients

4-5 servings
  1. 1 cupmilk, while
  2. 6 slicesbread, wheat
  3. 2 lbground beef
  4. 1 cupparmesan cheese, grated
  5. 1/4 tspseasoned salt
  6. 3/4 tspsalt
  7. 1/4 tspblack pepper
  8. 1/3 cupparsley, minced
  9. 4eggs, beaten
  10. 10 slicesbacon
  11. Sauce:
  12. 1-1/2 cupketchup
  13. 1/3 cupbrown sugar

Steps

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. 2

    Pour milk over the bread slices and allow to soak

  3. 3

    Place the ground beef, milk-soaked bread, parmesan, seasoned salt, salt, black pepper, and parsley in a large mixing bowl.

    Pour in beaten eggs.

  5. 5

    With clean hands, mix the ingredients until well combined.

  6. 6

    Form the mixture into a loaf shape on a baking sheet or broiler pan

  7. 7

    Lay bacon slices over the top, tucking them underneath the meatloaf

  8. 8

    Bake for 45 minutes

  9. 9

    Pour 2/3 of sauce over the top of the bacon

  10. 10

    Bake for another 15 minutes

  11. 11

    Slice and serve with remaining sauce.
