#Mother's Day
Post-3
Yes !!! This is the time to celebrate my mother 's love and memories. But how can I forget my second mother who came in my life and accepted me as a daughter? I called her 'maa'.I don't think there is any such type of day as Mother in-law day. I dedicate my cooking to my mother in- law who taught me the A B C of cooking. At my mother's place I was always busy with my studies so was not allowed in the kitchen. But I had the confidence that once I get my kitchen I can manage to cook well. So till today after 37 years of my marriage I can say that I cooked well for my children and husband.Never kept them waiting for food.Credit goes to my mother in -law who taught me the nitty- gritty of kitchen and instilled the kitchen mantra in me from the very beginning so I got hold my kitchen and husband equally well. Enough...........
These are called meethi Mathis or mathris. We make them on karwachauth and other ocassions. It's a very popular dish during festivals. An integral part of Sargi given by my mother in law on Karwachauth to her bahu.
Though my mother in - law is no more but I celebrate karwa Chauth as she taught me to do. One dish of her is meethi mathi which my husband also likes the most so I make often..Thanks! Maaa.
