Heat oil/ghee in a vessel or pressure cooker,add shah jeera,cloves,cinnamon and cardamoms and stir fry 30 sec.

Add the sliced onions and sauté for 3mins.add red chilli paste,deggi mirch and sauté for 4-5mins

Add all the veggies,chopped tomato,tomato purée,salt and biryani Masala and mix cook for 8-9mins on low to medium flame,or til oil separates

Reduce heat,add the raw rice mix sauté for a min
- 5
Add 3 1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil.reduce flame and cook till rice is done

If using pressure cooker,cook rice up to 1whistle

Remove into a serving bowl garnish with coriander leaves..serve warm with raita and chutney
