Steps

Preheat oven to 200°C or gas mark 6

Rub together the flour and butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
- 3
Add the water to the bowl and make the mixture into a ball of pastry
- 4
Lightly flour the ball of pastry, rolling pin and work surface and roll the dough out to about 4mm thick
- 5
Using your cutter cut out 12 circle shapes.

Lightly grease your tart tray to avoid the pastry sticking
- 7
Place the circle shaped dough into your tart tray and add a small amount of strawberry jam to each half filling the case
- 8
Bake in the oven for approximatley 15-18 minutes. leave to cool and then enjoy.
