  • 12 CupsSugar
  • 1 1/4 CupCorn Starch
  • 1 tsp.Nutmeg
  • 4 tsp.Cinnamon
  • 2 tsp.Salt
  • 5 QuartsWater
  • 6 Tbsp.Lemon Juice
  • 12 qt.Apples, peeled, cored, and chopped.

Steps

20 mins
  1. 1

    Mix Sugar, corn starch, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt in large stock pot.

  2. 2

    Stir in water and bring to boil over medium heat.

  3. 3

    Add apples and lemon juice, stir well.

  4. 4

    Fill clean jars leaving 1/2 inch head space.

  5. 5

    Wipe rim of each jar and cap

  6. 6

    Process in water bath for 20 minutes.
