Slowly mix the gelatin into the hot coffee. Make sure to continue stirring until completely dissolved.
*Gelatin may clump if poured in too quickly or if coffee isn't HOT enough

Mix the sugar into the coffee mixture until completely dissolved.

Pour the finished mixture into a single container or several dessert cups of your choice.
*Remove any bubbles on the surface; it will create indents in the jello

Place in the fridge until firm.
*Chilling time varies based on container

Once completely firm, cut the jello into squares (if necessary) and serve with desired topping :D
