Japanese Style Hushed Beef on Rice (Hayashi Rice)

Ingredients

  1. 1 boxHushed Beef Soup Stock
  2. 350grans Sliced Beef
  3. 3 piecesOnion (About 600grams)
  4. 2 tbspSalad Oil (Cooking Oil)
  5. 900 mlWater

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the Beef into easy-to-eat size.

  2. 2

    Cut the Onion in half vertically. Peel off about two Onion layers at a time and cut them into wedges from the edge.

  3. 3

    Heat the oil and fry the Beef. When the meat changes color, add the onions and stir-fry together. When the oil is dispersed,add the water.

    When it boils, turn the heat to low and carefully remove the scum. Cover with a lid and simmer it for 15 minuets.

  5. 5

    Add the Hushed Beef Soup stock and mix it well. Bring to a boil. Simmer it for 10 minuets.

  6. 6

    Place 250grams cooked rice on a bowl. Place the hushed Beef on the bowl of rice.

  7. 7

    Hushed Beef Soup Stock SG$3.5/box at Don Don Donki
