Ingredients

  2. 1Carrots
  3. 1/2Beans
  4. 1/2 cupPeas
  5. 200 gmPaneer
  6. to tasteBiryani Masala
  7. To tasteKashimiri Chilli powder
  8. to tasteRegular Chilli powder
  9. To tasteTurmeric
  10. 1/2 tspJeera powder
  11. 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  12. as neededCoriander leaves
  13. as neededMint leaves
  14. 1Green chillies
  15. as neededCurd
  16. 1/2 lemonLemon juice
  17. 1 tspGinger garlic paste
  18. to tasteSalt
  19. 2Bay leaf
  20. 2Cloves
  21. 1Whole Elaichi
  22. 1/2 tspShah jeera
  23. as neededOil

Cooking Instructions

    Cut the vegetables whatever shape you like.. potatoes..carrots..beans..peas..
    Now marinate all the above vegetables using.. little Biriyani Masala..kashmiri Chilli powder..(for colour) regular Chilli powder..Turmeric.. jeera powder..Garam masala..mint leaves..coriander leaves..2 slit green chillies..Curd..lemon juice (half lemon.. bay leaf..ginger garlic paste..salt..

    Mix all the above well and keep it a side for Abt 30min for marination..
    The measures r taken approximately as per our taste..
    Now wash the Basmati rice and soak it in enough water and let it rest for 30min..
    And also soak the safron in hot milk..
    Now take a proper vessel/bhagona, add enough oil, pour the Marinated mixture and cook for abt 10-12min on a medium flame..

    Mean while boil water for rice, add bay leaf, cloves. elaichi..sajeera..2 spoons of oil..Now add the rice and let it cook on a high flame, let the rice cook for 70-75% approximately.. Now strain the water and add the rice on top of the cooked veggies and close with the lid, let it cook for Abt 8min on a medium flame,

    And then transfer the vessel on the flat old pan and top it with ghee and safron milk and close the lid using atta or cloth and then place the lid tightly for "dhum" for Abt 5-7 min on low flame..
    You need to b careful abt veggies (Abt burning and sticking to the pan).. in between..
    Now switch off the flame and let it rest for 10 min...
    Now enjoy hot and yumm Biriyani with Raita
