Ingredients

  1. 500 gmFor marination : Boneless fish -
  2. 1 tspGinger paste -
  3. 1/2 tspGarlic paste -
  4. 1 tspPepper powder -
  5. 1Egg -
  6. Salt
  7. 2 tbspFor the tempering : Onion paste -
  8. 1 tspGinger paste -
  9. 1/2 tspGarlic paste -
  10. 2 tbspTomato ketchup -
  11. 1 tspSoy sauce -
  12. 2 tspRed chilly sauce -
  13. 1 tspGreen chilly sauce -
  14. 1 tspSugar -
  15. Salt
  16. 1/2 tspAjinamoto (optinal) -
  17. Coriander leaves (chopped) - handful
  18. Ginger juliennes (few strands) for garnishing
  19. Refined oil

Steps

40 minutes
  1. 1

    Whisk the egg with cornflour, ginger garlic paste, pepper powder, salt

  2. 2

    Add the fish pieces into it and marinate for 30 minutes. Heat ample amount of oil in a kadhai and deep fry the marinated fish. Strain them and keep aside.

  3. 3

    Now in another pan, heat some oil and add the ginger paste, followed by the garlic paste.

  4. 4

    Then add the onion paste and saute till golden brown. Now add rest of the things mentioned in the ingredients.

  5. 5

    Stir and add little water and cook till masala is done. Add the cooked fish pieces and coat them well.

  6. 6

    Add the chopped coriander leaves and ginger julienne, serve.
