Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cupgrated raw papita
  • 1 cupsugar
  • 1big lemon
  • 1 tbspraisins
  • Pinchsalt
  • 1 cupwater

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut 1 medium raw papita into chunks and scrape it after discarding seeds and skin.Boil it with pinch of salt for 5 minutes. Water should just cover the scraped papita.Add sugar and boil till it becomes sticky.

  2. 2

    When done, add juice of 1 lime approximately 3 tbsp.Taste should be sweet and sour.When partially cool sprinkle raisins and toss.Serve chilled with lunch or dinner.
