Steps

Sieve Maida and mix ghee in it.. mix it thoroughly so that no lumps are formed..

Add 1tsp sugar and baking soda and mix well. Make a soft dough with required hot water. Keep aside. Do not knead the dough.

Make sugar syrup by adding water to sugar and constantly stirring it till sugar melts. Keep checking the consistency of sugar. When the syrup reaches one-string consistency, take it off the stove and add crushed cardamom pods. Add one tsp of ghee to sugar syrup and keep aside.

Make small balls of the dough and press in the center.

Heat ghee/Oil in a kadaai. Slowly put the badushas in the oil and fry them on medium or low flame till golden brown.

Take out and immediately put the badusha in sugar syrup. Let it sink for two mins, take it out and let it cool. Once it cools, garnish with sliced almonds and serve...
